Model 74s Grand Auditorium

Model 74 guitars are concert class instruments from our masterbuilt range which are hand crafted in an artisan workshop headed by luthier Niu Lihua, a former understudy of world renown master luthier Yulong Guo.

They are inspired by the designs of Australian luthier Greg Smallman and latterly  master luthier Yulong Guo. They feature lattice braced tops  combined with arched and braceless 'double backs'  which give the instruments exceptional projection.

Additional design features found on the 'S' model include an elevated fretboard with an adjustable truss rod built into the neck and a sound reference port in the body upper bout. The tops, which are available in either cedar or spruce, have an integral armrest. The back and sides are Indian rosewood.

The performance level of this superb instrument makes it fully at home in a concert or orchestral setting
